Hispanic Heritage Month, done right.
Hispanic Heritage Month is usually a bulletin board, a Frida Kahlo quote, and a coloring page. That is not it. The month is an invitation to do the work of letting students see the contributions of Hispanic figures in art, music, science, and politics as the default curriculum, not as a side dish for September. These resources are built that way.
